Emily (Em) Mai Chmiel is a Vietnamese-American photographer, writer, and creator based in New York.

Most recently, she exhibited her first photography series, “Unbaby,” at The Bridge’s 2024 final exhibition in NYC, which you can read more about here.

She is currently studying political science and visual arts at Columbia University and spent the past summer interning in partnerships at LEITZES&CO and the fashion department of Interview Magazine.

Last spring, she wrote a dissertation on the impact of AI on creative industries.
